rapidECM operates with a license code that is tied to the individual Services Layer and OnBase server.
License codes are made available to licensed customers and registered ionetiq partners as needed and can be obtained through the form here: https://ionetiq.fillout.com/license
The form requires the following information
Field | Description |
Customer Name | The name of the licensed customer |
Hyland Customer Number | The number allocated to the licensed customer by Hyland. If unknown this can be found on the profile on Hyland Community |
ionetiq Customer Number | A number identifying each ionetiq customer. This is not required in the form but if you know it, please enter it. If you don’t it will be provided in the license key email response |
Partner Name | The name of the Hyland Reseller company if sold through a partner. Non-mandatory if directly sold to the customer |
Contact Name | The name of the person who should be contacted if needed. Could be at the reseller if customer is supported through reseller, or at the customer if direct |
Contact eMail | eMail address of the contact above |
OnBase Install ID | This is an install ID created when OnBase was first installed * |
OnBase Data source name | The data source name of the OnBase system that will be used for this rapidECM installation |
AppServer URL | The full URL of the OnBase AppServer that will be used for this rapidECM installation, including /service.asmx |
System Type | The type of OnBase installation * |
Comments | Not required but worthwhile mentioning anything special about this installation |

Execute ob-appserver-info.exe and follow the instructions provided. The values produced should be entered into this form
Once the form has been submitted a License key will be generated and sent to the Contact eMail
